Volunteers are accepted at age 14. The volunteer application process requires three references to be provided and a Vulnerable Sector Screening Clearance or an equivalent.
Corporate, school and church team volunteers are recruited to assist with special events, client dances, large gardening projects and large painting or maintenance projects.
AbleLiving Services provides volunteer opportunities at all our sites. A wide variety of volunteer opportunities are available and vary at each site.
A long term commitment is preferred to establish a relationship with our clients, but summer positions and school term positions are available.
